National Association for Music Education

Concordia's chapter of NAfME primarily serves music education majors who are specializing in the band setting. In cooperation with Concordia's students chapters of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA) and the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), NAfME strives to create experiences for students studying music education to become professionally engaged, and ultimately better prepared to enter the teaching profession upon graduation. There are no chapter membership dues, and all activities of the organization are open to any student regardless of area of emphasis.
