The Concordia Mock Trial team is looking for new members!

In Mock Trial, each team member becomes either a lawyer or a witness and brings a court case to life.

All colleges get the same case and we compete at a few tournaments during the season which is about September-February. Even if being an attorney isn't for you, we need people to act as witnesses (be they sleazy used car salesmen, doctors, or overly dramatic investigative journalists). We practice about 2-4 hours a week and have 2-3 weekend long tournaments. This is some of the best prep for law school, but everyone is encouraged to come, not just pre-law students or political science majors!
