Colleges Against Cancer

Colleges Against Cancer is a fun organization always looking for new members.  We plan various activities throughout the year that raise awareness and money for the American Cancer Society.  Our members’ main focus is planning Relay for Life in the spring.  Relay for Life is an event that lasts 12 hours during which teams come together to fundraise and walk to celebrate survivors, remember those we have lost and fight back against the disease.  There are lots of great bands that play and different games/entertainment throughout the night.  We also plan events for Breast Cancer Awareness Week, the Great American Smokeout and Skin Cancer Awareness Week.  Our committee meets one to two times per month.
