Student Organizations
Black Student Union
The Black Student Union is a safe haven, targeted for Black Students at Concordia, yet still open for all other ethnicities. This organization is committed to uniting students in a place where they can feel comfortable and can relate on a level outside of academics, sports, orientation clubs, work etc. We meet every other Sunday night of the month for an hour. During meetings we have discussions about personal experiences on and off campus, issues going on in the media and we also come together for movie nights and other fun activities. Some highlighted events from the organization were the Flash Mob in Knutson (2011), the Martin Luther King Day Panel (2012), the Hip Hop Summit (2012), co-hosting Tea House with Concordia Alum Fay Ferguson (2012).
