Kristi Wieser '84
Global Technology Services Program Executive
IBM

Kristi Wieser, is currently serving as the IBM Global Technology Services Program Executive responsible for IBM’s technology services portfolio with Wal-Mart in Bentonville, Arkansas. This means she leads a team of 350 people working out of the US & India who deliver IT projects to a very large global retailer. Overall, she and her team do work in 16 countries for their client. As the overall Program Executive Kristi's responsibilities include management of people, financials (revenue & profit), contracts, assets (buildings & IT assets), customer satisfaction, business growth, strategic planning and tactical delivery of projects.

Because Kristi has traveled internationally and domestically quite a bit, she has developed a global perspective on business and humanity first hand. She has had the opportunity to work with a non-profit in the US and several Non-Government Organizations in India to collaborate in developing an Assistive Technology Center for children with disabilities in India. Kristi finds great satisfaction in the ability to positively impact the world when businesses and non-profit organizations intersect.

In addition, Kristi is a Concordia alum. As a student, Kristi served in Student Government Association, as an Orientation Leader, a Football and Basketball cheerleader, and the M.C. for Homecoming Coronation. She participated in a semester away at America University in Washginton, D.C. and in a May Seminar ("War and Peace").
