Fillings (deli) - Set up and maintain the double sandwich bar line while creating made-to-order sandwiches and a specialty sandwich.
Explore (flex) - Help prepare and serve a variety of specialty foods rotated on a regular basis.
Comfort (home-style) - Help prepare and serve a variety of home-style foods for contract and dining center customers.
Slice (pizza)/Al Dente (pasta) - Prepare and serve stone-baked pizza and a variety of pastas and sauces.
Fresh (salad bar) - Set up and maintain our extensive salad bar, soups and composed salads.
Sizzle (grill) - Set up and maintain the grill line of hamburgers, fries and grilled specialty sandwiches; assist in cooking as required.
Bliss (desserts and ice cream) - Just like it sounds. Prepare desserts and fruit for display; serve hand-dipped hard ice cream.
Energy (breakfast bar)/Quench (beverages) - Set up and maintain our extensive breakfast bar including all-day waffles, cereal and bread items, as well as a wide variety of juice, milk and fountain soda. Heavy lifting is required.
Dining Center Dish Room - Help clean dishes, trays and flatware for our customers.
Checker - Welcome our customers and scan identification cards; accept cash payments and guest passes; play a key role in enforcement of Dining Services polices and maintenance of the security and integrity of the dining center.
Warehouse - Work with regular staff to maintain and issue inventory; unload food trucks. Heavy lifting is required.
Laundry - Launder Dining Services aprons using on-campus laundry equipment.
Meal Ingredient - Work with regular staff to weigh and measure all ingredients sent to the kitchen and bakery.
Bakery - Prepare finished bakery items for the dining center and catered events; clean bakery at the end of the shift.
Production Dish Room - Help clean pans and utensils from the production areas.
Meals On Wheels - Help to package food portions for individual to-go meals.
Cook's Helper - Assist the regular staff cooks in the production of items served in the dining center as well as catered meals.
Korn Krib - Work in our convenience store stocking grocery items, helping customers and operating the cash register.
The Maize - Work in our brand new short-order restaurant in various capacities including stocking items, making fresh brewed coffee, working the grill and fryer, cashier and dishwasher.
Coffee Stop - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks along with stocking items and being a cashier.
Concessions - Work in a fast-paced environment at athletic events and other spectator events providing ready-made foods and rapid customer service.
Catering - Work with our catering department preparing, serving, cleaning and making deliveries to on and off campus customers.
Student Manager - This is an interviewed position that has responsibility for all student employees on their shift. They are responsible for training, recruiting, disciplining and appraising. At least one year of Dining Services employment or related employment is required.
Summer Conference Core Crew Team - Open to students available to work during the summer and returning to campus in the fall. We offer many services to conference and event planners on campus or in the community.
