FAQs
1. Can I drop my meal plan?
Meal plan agreements are for the entire academic year. You may elect to change options or cancel your meal plan if eligible. First semester meal plan changes must be completed by the last day a Block I class can be added. Students that are living on campus with explicit approval of Student Affairs to move off campus must make second semester meal plan changes by the last day a Block III class can be added. Please refer to the academic calendar for dates.
2. Why can’t I just tell you my ID number if I forgot my ID?
It’s for your own protection. Someone else could memorize your ID number and use your Meal Plan. The addition of dining dollars to the IDs makes security an even bigger issue.
3. What if I lose my ID?
You can get a temporary ID for a $5 deposit at Anderson Commons. The temporary ID is valid for one week. Upon return, $3 will be refunded. If your original ID is still missing, a new ID can be purchased for $10 minus the $5 paid for the temporary.
4. What do I do if I am sick and cannot come to Anderson Commons?
You should notify your RA, who will fill out an authorization slip reporting the need to have a special
food tray brought to your room.
5. What is Mission Nutrition?
Mission Nutrition is Concordia’s nutritional labeling program. It is one of the most complete nutrition labeling programs throughout college and university food services. Mission Nutrition is based on the number of fat grams per serving.
Thanks to Mission Nutrition, the foods at Dining Services are marked with one of three colors of labels to help you make healthy food choices. The colors represent the following:
Red = 13.01 grams or more of fat
Yellow = 5.01 to 13 grams of fat
Green = 5 grams or less of fat
