Cobber Speech Team Fare Well at Bradley University

The Concordia Speech team recently made a strong showing at one of the largest tournaments in the nation, which was held Novemeber 5-6 at the 64th annual L.E. Norton Invitational held at Bradley University where over 50 schools from all over the country competed including; Western Kentucky Unversity, University of Texas-Austin, and George Mason University. The Cobbers were led by two of their seniors, Andrew Eilola and Alex MacArthur who advanced to elimination rounds.

MacArthur placed 5th in informative speaking, while Eilola placed 5th in prose interpretation and was the tournament champion in persuasive speaking. Junior Britt Aasmundstad along with Freshmen Alex Elizarraga and Christiana Hennings also made a strong showing, narrowly missing elimination rounds.
