The Cobbers were led by two of their seniors, Andrew Eilola and Alex MacArthur who advanced to elimination rounds.
MacArthur placed 5th in informative speaking, while Eilola placed 5th in prose interpretation and was the tournament champion in persuasive speaking. Junior Britt Aasmundstad along with Freshmen Alex Elizarraga and Christiana Hennings also made a strong showing, narrowly missing elimination rounds.
