Graduation year: 2012
Major(s)/Minor: Social Work
Hometown, State: Litchfield, MN
Concordia Involvement/Activities: Swimming and Diving team, Phonathon, Office of Student Success
Favorite thing about Concordia: The people who I have become close to are a big part of why I love the school
One obstacle I had to overcome at Concordia: Deciding on a major and trying to decide where my priorities were in regards to classes, work, friends, etc.
Best advice to a new student at Concordia: Try to get involved in activities that put you out of your comfort zone, now is the time to really explore and figure out what it is you are interested in and who you are as a person.
Summer Job/Activities: During the summer I coach a diving camp and work part time at the greenhouse in town. I also get a few hours in installing security cameras and pulling cable for a cabling company. This summer will be my first working at a group home, I am very excited about getting experience that relates to social work.
Favorite attraction or hang-out in Fargo/Moorhead: Any of the restaurants because I love to eat but Paradiso is always a good time so that would be one of the top ones.
Little known fact about you: Rain is my favorite kind of weather
