Jen Hanson

Graduation year: 2013
Major(s)/Minor: Organizational Communication/ Scandinavian Studies and Psychology
Hometown, State: Orono, MN
Concordia Involvement/Activities: Women's Soccer, Student Ambassador for Alumni Relations, Intramural basketball
Favorite thing about Concordia: The small, friendly community. I think it is impossible to walk anywhere without saying “hi, how are you?” to at least 5 people.
One obstacle I had to overcome at Concordia: I had difficulty choosing which minors to pursue, there are so many to choose from and a lot of different combinations I could have chosen with Communication.
Best advice to a new student at Concordia: Get involved. By getting involved you make so many contacts that not only help you to make friends, but also will create great networking for the future.
Summer Job/Activities: I worked at our office, The Office of Student Succes and Retention. I traveled to England, Scotland, and Austria for Summer School Abroad studying Abnormal Psychology. wakeboarding, bonfires, hung out in Moorhead!
Favorite attraction or hang-out in Fargo/Moorhead: Lower-level of Fjelstad, of course!
Little known fact about yourself: I have been to all 50 state capitals in the United States
Favorite pick up line: "I'm not trying to impress you or anything, but... I'm Batman!"
