Office of Risk Management and Safety
The role of Risk Management and Safety at Concordia is to monitor safety and insurance practices across campus, as well as train individuals in carrying out work responsibilities in a safe manner. Our two divisions –
Risk Management/Insurance and
Environmental Health and Safety – offer a variety of services.
We can help with your questions and concerns regarding
OSHA regulations,
workers’ compensation, the college-sponsored
chiropractic preventative care program and the
Right to Know Act. We also are responsible for the college
risk management policy and
vehicle usage policy.
Our office also handles many college
insurance policies, including fulfilling requests for certificates of insurance, and the college’s
emergency operations plan.
