Office of Global Education

Ready to move outside your comfort zone?

Through our far-reaching range of study away programs, you can experience a different culture and place while learning in and outside the classroom. Be it a program led by Concordia faculty or a year-long program at a foreign university, you can have an culturally, and personally challenging experience that starts in the classroom and allows students a first-hand perspective to global affairs.

Exploration Seminars
Exploration Seminars are spring break excursions, wherein each trip is the centerpiece of an on-campus course that lays the cultural and historical groundwork for a short but intense nine day experience away.

May Seminars
Developed and taught by experienced Concordia faculty, twenty-five day May Seminars are interdisciplinary, in-depth explorations of entire regions and cultures.

Summer School Abroad
Take a class while immersed in another culture.  Learn from both Concordia faculty members and the city you will call home for thirty days.

Semester and Year Long Programs
An even better way to truly understand the complexity and depth of another culture is to live, study, and work among its people for a semester or full academic year. Concordia has forged partnerships with institutions around the globe to design programs that go far beyond the average away experience.
