They say it’s never too late to learn new things.  Here at F/M Communiversity, we stand by that statement. Want to learn more about philosophy?  Astronomy?  Shakespeare?  Jazz?  Healthcare? The environment? Regardless of your interests, you’re sure to find something at F/M Communiversity, a program of liberal arts courses and cultural events for learners of all ages offered during the standard academic year.

Test the limits of your imagination, stretch your mind and experience learning like never before – in a world free of tests, grades and papers! Regardless of whether you’re interested in the liberal arts and sciences, creative living, music, religion and theology, or something totally different – you’ll be able to find a course that interests you and to learn for the pure joy of learning.  F/M Communiversity offers a wealth of knowledge for a community of lifelong learners.

F/M Communiversity was launched in 1965 as an ecumenical outreach of churches and the college to the community. The focus on community issues foreshadowed the evolution of the program toward a broad liberal arts program. Limited initially to the four Sundays in February, the program has expanded to coordinate with the academic calendar and is offered at several locations in Fargo-Moorhead, though the fullest program is still offered in February at Riverview Place in Fargo.
