Residence Life
Residence Life at Concordia is more than dorms and dining halls. It’s the place many students call home for four exciting years of their lives. Whether living in one of our on-campus residence halls or townhouses —or close by in an off-campus apartment —residence life helps students stay connected to the Concordia community.
The mission of the department of residence life is to provide a safe living environment that promotes personal growth, fosters student learning, stresses responsible behavior and encourages community involvement.
Whether you’re a prospective student, current student, or parent, our department is happy to help make Concordia home.
New for Students: In order to comply with federal regulations, Concordia is implementing a new student health insurance program through EIIA effective August 10, 2013. All full-time, undergraduate students will be automatically enrolled and charged an annual premium of $1,640 for Concordia's health insurance plan--unless students have completed an on-line waiver verifying coverage through a comparable health insurance plan prior to August 30, 2013 (no refunds will be made after the waiver deadline). The on-line waiver may be accessed July 10th through September 10th at www.eiiastudent.org/cord (click on the "Waive my coverage" note). Detailed primary insurance information will be needed to complete the waiver. More information is being sent out this summer regarding the new program. If you have questions, please contact Karleen Mjolsness at 218-299-4242.
