Office of Intercultural Affairs

The Office of Intercultural Affairs partners across Concordia’s campus and surrounding community to cultivate a college environment that regards ability to engage across difference as a hallmark of citizenship and leadership in the 21st century. The diversity of perspectives and experiences within the student body enrich our academic programs and community life, and deepen students’ capacities to live and lead in an increasingly diverse world.

Reflective of Concordia's investment in campus globalization, the Office of Intercultural Affairs facilitates intercultural connections, experiences and learning. The 2nd and 4th Tuesday every month, we host the King Center ^ Tea House in our King Intercultural Center, which serves as an informal headquarters for student-led groups like the Black Student Union, the International Student Organization, Social Justice and SAGA or Straight and Gay Alliance.

We also offer support and counsel for international students towards successful navigation of their academic and student experience at Concordia and in the U.S., beginning with International Student Orientation prior to the start of the academic year. The office also hosts opportunities for international students to build relationships with each other and within the student body.
