Working in the U.S.
Tax Information
You should comply with all federal (United States) and state income tax regulations while you are a Concordia student. Because Concordia staff, particularly the International Student Services and Intercultural Affairs staff, are not tax professionals we cannot and do not offer any tax advice. Learning and complying with tax regulations is expected of employees in the US. This can be a complex undertaking and may require you to seek professional assistance.
Concordia students have free access to Glacier Tax preparation software which can be used to prepare a US nonresident alien tax return. Please contact Sonja to obtain your access code to use the software.
Each year we typically arrange a tax preparation workshop on campus for international students and we suggest you take advantage of this.
