What is academic counseling?
Work one-on-one with a professional staff member to plan your path to academic success. Academic counselors can help assess your study skills and learning style, and work with you to make your academic time most effective.

How do I schedule an appointment?
To schedule an appointment with an academic counselor you can either stop in the Academic Enhancement & Writing Center in the lower level of Fjelstad, room B10, or call us at 299-4551. Please schedule approximately one hour for your appointment.

Learning Styles
Find out your preferred learning style and learn about various study strategies that support your learning style and create a more effective study environment.

Learning Skills Inventory (study habits)
Learn where your strengths and weaknesses are in regards to your study habits and create a plan for improvement.

College Learning Effectiveness Inventory (CLEI)
Learn which personal and social influences may impact your learning and work with academic support personnel to develop your own academic success plan which reflect your own academic goals.
