Townhouse Apartments

The college Townhouses are the newest addition to campus living, completed in the summer of 2004.  The Townhouses provide apartment-style living for juniors and seniors. While offering a different social environment than most residence halls, the college apartments are managed under the same policies and regulations that govern campus housing. The Townhouses are staffed by a building director and a student facilities manager.

All apartments are fully furnished and equipped with a kitchen, which means that residents are not required to participate in the college's board plan. The college townhouses have a variety of floorplan options, including 2 bedroom apartments, 3 bedroom apartments, and 4 bedroom, two-level townhouses.

Apartments: The townhouses apartments contain a bedroom for each occupant, a bathroom (two bathrooms in the four-person apartments), living and dining rooms, and a kitchen. They are furnished with beds (80" x 39"), desks, chairs, bookcases, living and dining room furniture, blinds, internet and cable television access, and a stove, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Additional refrigeration units must be approved in advance.

Laundry Facilities: Each apartment is furnished with a washer and dryer.  Students furnish their own irons and ironing boards.

Cleaning Equipment
: A vacuum cleaner, mop, broom, dustpan, and various cleaning supplies are provided in each apartment.  Additional cleaning supplies are available at the East Complex desk.

Storage Room: The Townhouses have no additional storage; however, each apartment has a storage closet/pantry for each resident.  In addition, arrangements may be made to store items in other halls if necessary.  Contact a staff member for more information. You may not store empty boxes or other bulky or hazardous material. The college does not assume liability for items stored in storage rooms. Also, items which are unmarked, or unclaimed for two years, will be donated to local charities or otherwise disposed of.
