Park Region Hall

Park RegionThis residence hall features a beautiful lounge for its 146 women residents. This 3 1/2-story building was completed in 1956. Its name commemorates the college's original ties with Park Region Academy in Fergus Falls, Minn. A complete renovation of the hall was completed in 1996.

Information desk: The hall information desk, located in the main lobby, is open from 6 p.m. - 6 a.m. each day. The desk staff monitor the building as well as making change and checking out equipment for residents. 

 

Rooms: All rooms are two-person rooms. Each room is furnished with beds (80'' x 39''), a wardrobe, dressers,  desks, chairs, bookshelves, drapes and internet and cable television access.

Lounges: The main lounge contains a fireplace and TV. The main lounge is accessible 24 hours a day. There is also an exercise room for residents only located in the basement.

Martin Luther King Intercultural Center: This lounge, complete with kitchen facilities, is available for student groups and organizations meeting on campus.

Study areas: Study lounges are located on each floor.

Kitchen: A kitchen is located just off the main lounge and is available 24 hours a day. The kitchen is furnished with a range, microwave oven, and refrigerator.

Laundry facilities: The laundry is located in the basement. The facility includes automatic commercial washers and dryers.

Park RegionCleaning equipment: Assorted cleaning utensils are located in the utility room on each floor. Vacuum cleaners may be checked out at the desk.

Storage room: A storage room is located on the lower level of the hall for storage of suitcases and other seldom-used items. Contact a staff member to make arrangements for its use. The college does not assume liability for items stored in storage rooms. Also, items which are unmarked, or unclaimed for two years, will be donated to local charities or otherwise disposed of.
