Boe-Olsen Apartments
Added to Concordia's college housing in 1996 is the Boe-Olsen apartment building located at the corner of 8th Street and 10th Avenue South. This facility features 18 efficiency apartments for two upperclass women each.
While offering a different social environment than most residence halls, the college apartments are managed under the same policies and regulations that govern campus housing. The apartments are staffed by a building director and resident assistants (RAs). All apartments are fully furnished and equipped with a kitchen, which means that residents are not required to participate in the college's board plan.
Apartments in Boe-Olsen contain one bedroom, a bathroom, living and dining area, and a kitchen. They are furnished with bunkable beds (80" x 39"), study tables, chairs, living and dining room furniture, curtains, internet and cable television access, and a stove and refrigerator. Additional refrigeration units must be approved in advance.
Laundry Facilities: A laundry room is located on first floor with an automatic commercial washing machine and dryer. Laundry machines are activated by funds from your student ID card. Ironing boards are available; students furnish their own irons.
Cleaning Equipment: Vacuum cleaners may be checked out from an RA.
Storage Room: There is no additional storage in Boe-Olsen; however, arrangements may be made to store some items in other halls. Talk with your RA for more information.
