Bicycle Storage
You should register your bicycle through Parking Services, and we recommend you secure your bicycle with a solid lock to the bike racks (not trees and other immovable objects) outside each residence hall. The majority of bikes stolen during the year are those not locked or secured properly. If you have a quick release seat/tires please exercise additional security measures. You may also store your bicycle in your room provided your roommate(s) agrees and you carry, not roll or ride, the bike to and from your room. Bicycles may not be left in public areas of the residence halls (hallways, stairwells, study room, etc.) because of city and state fire regulations. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in confiscation and a fine.
