Identity and Standards Guide - Wordmark Color

Color plays a crucial role in ensuring the overall impact of the Concordia College identity system. The Concordia wordmark should only be reproduced in PMS 222, black or white. The preferred color option is PANTONE 222 (maroon). If printing with one color other than PANTONE 222 (maroon) or black, the wordmark needs to be reversed. Never substitute other colors. If printing the wordmark in four-color process, use the CMYK values shown below to match as closely as possible the Concordia College colors.
The palette of approved additional colors should be used when colors other than maroon are needed to communicate the Concordia College message effectively.
Two-color projects
When the wordmark is used with a location, office name, address, website, etc., then two-color is the preferred option.
For projects printed on coated papers:
PANTONE 222C (maroon) and black
For projects printed on uncoated papers:
PANTONE 222U (maroon) and black
Four-color projects
PMS 222 is converted to: C:0 M:100 Y:10 K:59
One-color projects
The wordmark may be printed in one color as a solid or reversed out of black.
