Capitalization
Here is a brief guide to Concordia-related capitalization.
academic divisions: capitalize (e.g., Arts and Humanities, Sciences and Mathematics)

administrative divisions: capitalize (e.g., Academic Affairs, Enrollment, Finance; Advancement, Communications and Marketing, Development, Student Affairs)

“the” as in The Concordia Choir:
capitalize because it’s part of the official name

“the college” when referring to Concordia: do not capitalize

titles, professional: capitalize formal titles only before the name (e.g., Dean of the college Dr. Mark Krejci vs. Dr. Mark Krejci, dean of the college). Long or awkward titles should be after the name.

Note: “coach” is informal, so it is lowercase even if before a name (e.g., head coach Terry Horan).
Lower case “dean” when referring to CLV deans (e.g., German Language Village dean Dan Hamilton or Dan Hamilton, German Language Village dean)
