What is Wimba?

Wimba is a web-based tool for managing synchronous (real time) collaborative interactions.  This tool can be used to deliver online instruction, things like virtual office hours, guest lecturers, and collaborative work spaces are other examples of how Wimba can be used to enhance existing campus courses that meet face-to-face.  All content and discussions delivered via Wimba can be archived, so students and faculty have access to view the content long after the live presentation.

Concordia has licensed Wimba, so register for this workshop to learn about how to access and use this incredible resource in your classroom or as a means to collaborate within a professional working group.
