Office of Risk Management and Safety
The role of Risk Management and Safety at Concordia is to monitor safety and insurance practices across campus, as well as train individuals in carrying out work responsibilities in a safe manner. Our two divisions – Risk Management/Insurance and Environmental Health and Safety – offer a variety of services.
We can help with your questions and concerns regarding:
- OSHA regulations
- Workers’ compensation
- College-sponsored chiropractic preventative care program
- Right to Know Act
We also are responsible for the college:
- Risk management policy
- Vehicle usage policy
- Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) policy
- Whistle Blower policy
Our office also handles many college insurance policies, including fulfilling requests for certificates of insurance, and the college’s emergency operations plan.
