Recycling

Concordia recycles a wide variety of materials, from office paper and aluminum to plastic, magazines, cardboard and newspaper. Bins and recycling programs are located throughout the campus. All of the bins are emptied weekly and the recyclables are picked up by MinnKota Recycling in Moorhead.

In 2009 alone, Concordia recycled 171,973 pounds (nearly 86 tons) of materials that otherwise would have gone into the landfill. See how efficient the Concordia community is at recycling.

How to Recycle
•    Keep contamination out of the recyclable material.
•    Only clean, sorted material can be accepted.
•    Place recyclable in the appropriate containers.
