Campus Status
The Concordia College campus remains free from flood waters— and is expected to remain so. The facilities management and public safety teams continue to work 24/7 to ensure the security of property and facilities throughout campus. Added precautionary measures will be taken as necessary to maintain that security.
As a reminder, the campus is closed and access to all facilities, including individual offices, is not permitted. However, the College is contacting appropriate personnel as part of a coordinated effort to move critical assets in potentially vulnerable areas to higher ground. If you have any particular concerns in this regard, please contact Campus Security at 299-3123.
Payroll update
All employees will be compensated at 100 percent pay during the current campus closure. Payroll will be distributed on its regular schedule. Arrangements are being made for those who are not on direct deposit to ensure timely payroll delivery. Watch the daily updates for more details.
Academic schedule
Classes are currently scheduled to resume Monday, April 6. Given the extended duration of cancelled classes, the College is reviewing options for the remainder of the academic schedule. A decision will be made no later than Thursday, April 2.
College Events
All college events through April 5 have been postponed or cancelled, including the Day of Percussion. (details here)
Though the most recent Admissions visit day had to be postponed, the staff continues its recruiting efforts for the incoming class of 2009.
