Great Decisions: Foreign Policy Issues Discussions

F/M Communiversity is proud to offer Great Decisions: Foreign Policy Issues Discussions, a program of the Foreign Policy Association.

The Great Decisions series takes you beyond today's headlines by providing a look at significant challenges facing the world.  Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs, with discussion groups meeting throughout the country.  There are more than 40 Great Decisions groups that meet in Minnesota and only one in North Dakota.  F/M Communiversity brings this important series to our area.

Each discussion begins with a 30-minute video, produced by the independent Foreign Policy Association in collaboration with PBS.  The videos provide in-depth analysis and expert opinion from foreign policy experts and thinkers on the most critical global issues facing America in the year ahead.  Then, with the help of local expert facilitators, you'll have the opportunity to share ideas and learn other perspectives.

F/M Communiversity annually holds Great Decisions sessions  on Saturdays in March.  Session topics for 2013 are "Future of the Euro" (March 2), "Iran" (March 9), "Threat Assessment" (March 16) and "China in Africa" (March 23).  To register for these sessions, please go to our registration page.

In 2013, F/M Communiversity's Great Decisions is made possible in part by a grant from the North Dakota Humanities Council, a statewide nonprofit and affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
