For Church Services

Let Concordia help you plan your church services. We offer several options for congregations, from faculty eager to preach at your church to touring music ensembles, outreach ministry teams and videos.

Concordia Sundays
Members of the Concordia faculty and administration are available to preach or participate in adult forums without charge. If you’d like someone to give a sermon, it must be based on scripture text. In a forum, emphasis is placed on higher education or topic arranged with a representative from Concordia.

Touring Music Ensembles
The renowned Concordia music department arranges several band, choir and orchestra concert tours throughout the academic year. Sponsoring a large ensemble concert is perfect for community or church artist series, benefit concerts and other special events. Make sure you inquire early as the dates are often filled one year in advance.

Temple Band and Borning Cry, two Christian musical groups at Concordia, can be booked for worship services or other events and gatherings. Contact the Campus Ministry Office for more information.

Outreach Ministry Teams
Since 1967, Concordia Outreach Teams have been sharing their faith through song and word with congregations throughout the region. These small student groups of instrumentalists and vocalists are available to perform at worship services and to lead youth gatherings in a 200-mile radius of the campus during the academic year.
