Here’s how else we can help:
Credentials File
As of June 2012, we no longer maintain Credential Files. You should create a set of "working credentials" by obtaining copies of your evaluations and recommendation letters. We also suggest that you maintain copies of your teaching resume, sample cover letter, personal statement and/or teaching philosophy, unofficial transcript and portfolio which can be used to obtain employment. If you would like specific directions on how to manage your credential files, visit Credential Files.
Transcripts
Request an official or unofficial transcript by contacting the Registrar’s Office at 218.299.3228
Licensure
Get a head start on applying for your licensure by contacting us for State of Minnesota or State of North Dakota materials – though you’ll have to wait until after your graduation to process your application. Completed applications, fingerprint cards, and checks should be returned to the Registrar’s Office for final processing.
Applying for Teaching Positions
As you can imagine, applying for teaching jobs can be a time-consuming process. We suggest you begin applying at least two months prior to graduation. Here’s a handy guide, including a timeline, to help you out.
