Scholarships for American Indian Students


We encourage all of our Native students to pursue scholarship/grant assistance as a means of financing their education.


CONCORDIA COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS
The following are Concordia-sponsored scholarships for American Indian students. Concordia offers many other scholarships as well.

Bishop Whipple Scholarship

Designated for any American Indian student enrolled at Concordia, this award is based upon a combination of financial need and academic achievement.

Dr. Edmund T. Bott Scholarship
Based upon financial need and academic achievement, preference for this award is given to individuals of American Indian descent. Additional preference is given to students who have lived on Native American Indian reservations, students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds and those interested in Native American culture as evidenced by their activities.


EXTERNAL SCHOLARSHIPS

You should check with your tribal education department regarding tribal assistance that might be available for your education. The following organizations also offer scholarships for which you may qualify. Some scholarship/grant funds are limited, so pay particular attention to application deadlines.
