Saberi Returns to Fargo Saturday

Welcome freelance journalist Roxana Saberi '97 home to Fargo, N.D., at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hector Airport. Saberi, who was released May 11 from an Iranian prison, is flying to Fargo from Washington, D.C., where she has spent several days meeting with government officials and media.

The college is assisting Gov. John Hoeven’s office in coordinating a welcome ceremony at the airport, which will include remarks from the governor, Rep. Earl Pomeroy, Fargo Deputy Mayor Tim Mahoney, Concordia College President Pamela Jolicoeur and Concordia associate journalism professor Cathy McMullen.
