CONCORDIA PRESENTS THREE CHOIRS SPRING CONCERT

 

            The music department at Concordia College will present a Three Choirs Concert at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 6 in Memorial Auditorium on the Moorhead, Minn., campus. The concert is free and open to the public.

            Cantabile, a choir of first-year female students, and Männerchor, a choir of first-year male students, are both conducted by Michael Smith. Smith has a background of 40 years in conducting choral music at Aitkin, Brainerd and Willmar high schools and Brainerd Community College.

            Bel Canto, a choral ensemble of approximately 90 upperclass women, is conducted by Charlette Moe. Moe is also a part of the music faculty at Minnesota State University Moorhead and North Dakota State University.

            Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering 78 majors, including 18 honors majors, and 12 preprofessional programs.
