NATIONALLY KNOWN SPEAKER AT CONCORDIA/HFMA SPRING

HEALTHCARE INSTITUTE

            Nationally known speaker, Charles Lauer, is one of the several speakers participating in the 33rd annual HFMA Spring Healthcare Institute April 3-4 at the Ramada Plaza Conference Center, Fargo. The Institute is sponsored by the Concordia College Healthcare Management program, the North Dakota and Minnesota Healthcare Financial Management Associations (HFMA) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

            Lauer published Modern Healthcare for more than 20 years and in 1997 introduced Modern Physician magazine. Known throughout the healthcare industry, Lauer is corporate vice president of Crain Communications, an author and sought after motivational speaker.             Speakers will be addressing some of the many challenges faced by healthcare finance and administration professionals including Charity Care, IRS 990 Regulations, Stark II, Severity Based DRG’s and workshops to improve financial performance.
