Arts and Humanities Events

Each year, the Concordia community presents a rich variety of programming in the arts and humanities. Our performing arts series features several performances each year by nationally recognized musicians, dancers, artists and more. Concordia music faculty and ensembles present dozens of free concerts and recitals throughout the academic year.

Concordia Theatre performs several main stage and many smaller productions as well. And be sure to attend one of the many academic lectures featuring the work of our students and faculty. For those who enjoy the world of the visual arts, the art department presents several exhibitions in the Cyrus. B. Running Gallery, often including gallery talks by the artists themselves.

Special events like the Faith, Reason and World Affairs Symposium, the Nobel Peace Prize Forum and the National Book Awards bring worldly and scholarly perspective to our campus and community.

All of these events are open to the public and most of them are free of charge. Please join the campus community at Concordia College for these engaging and enriching experiences in the arts and humanities.
