National Book Award Authors Announced

Louise Erdrich and Domingo Martinez will headline the eighth annual National Book Awards at Concordia event March 21-22.
 
louiseErdrich is the 2012 National Book Award winner for fiction and Pulitzer Prize finalist. She is the author of “The Round House” as well as 13 other novels, volumes of poetry, short stories, children’s books and a memoir.
 
domingoMartinez is a National Book Awards finalist for nonfiction and author of “The Boy Kings of Texas.” He has worked as a journalist and designer in Texas and Seattle. His work has appeared in Epiphany and The New Republic.
 
National Public Radio’s Lynn Neary will once again host the reading and conversation with the authors on March 21. The event will also include student master classes, presentations and an appearance by Harold Augenbraum, executive director of the National Book Foundation.
