Dr. Craft speaking in China

President William Craft is spending the week in Zhuhai, China, where he will speak at the Liberal Arts Conference at United International College.

The conference is one element of the partnership between UIC and the Minnesota Private College Council, of which Concordia is a member. Representatives from schools in the MPCC attend this conference to share news and information about how to teach and embody the liberal arts.

UIC is the first liberal arts college established in mainland China, with a curriculum dedicated to whole person education and international understanding.

At the conference, Dr. Craft will give a lecture on Concordia’s strategic plan and speak with UIC students.

UIC is one of three Chinese universities that have a relationship with Concordia. Craft will visit the second school, Lutheran Theological Seminary in Hong Kong, before returning home. The third school is Sichuan International Studies University in Chongqing, China.
