CONCORDIA TO PRESENT SYMPHONIC BAND CONCERT
    The Concordia College Music Organizations will present the Symphonic Band Concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 28, in Memorial Auditorium.
      The band, conducted by interim low brass instructor Dr. Edward Huttlin, will perform works by Elliot Del Borgo, Malcom Arnold, Andrew Boysen Jr., Eric Whitacre and Ron Nelson. 
      The concert will also include a performance of “Concerto for Trumpet and Trombone” by Paul Severson, featuring Dr. Peter Knudsvig, associate professor, on trumpet, and Dr. Nathaniel Dickey, assistant professor, on trombone.
      Huttlin was director of bands at Fargo South High School and is a former assistant professor of low brass at Concordia. He earned his B.S. and M.Ed. degrees from West Chester University and M.M. and Ph.D. from Michigan State University.
      The concert is free and open to the public.
