CONCORDIA TO PRESENT SCREENING OF DOCUMENTARY
ON INTERNATIONAL ADOPTION

The Concordia College Office of Intercultural Affairs will be screening the award-winning documentary “Wo Ai Ni Mommy” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, in Jones 212.
“Wo Ai Ni Mommy,” by filmmaker Stephanie Wang-Breal, documents the international adoption process and cultural transition of a young Chinese orphan named Fang Sui Yong. Through her eyes, the documentary shows the unique and often overlooked perspective of the adoptee, the amazingly transformative and often heartbreaking process of an orphan’s shift into a new family, a new language and a new culture.
A panel discussion by faculty, staff and students will take place after the screening.  Audience members are welcome to ask questions and reflect on the experiences of internationally adopted children and their families.
The screening is free and open to the public.
