CONCORDIA TO PRESENT ANNUAL
CELEBRATION OF STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
The Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship will present the annual Celebration of Student Scholarship April 18-19 at Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn. The event begins with oral concurrent sessions at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, April 18, followed by a reception to honor the scholarly accomplishments of Concordia students at 5:45 p.m. in the Centrum, Knutson Campus Center. The reception will be followed by an awards ceremony and concurrent sessions. Friday will include more student presentations and a poster session. For a complete list of the sessions and locations visit ConcordiaCollege.edu/Academics/Research/celebration1.php.
This annual event is an opportunity for students who have been involved in original, scholarly projects to present their work at a formal, campus-wide academic event, and for other students to learn about the scope of research, scholarship and creative experiences they can become involved in. Students present posters, papers and performances that describe faculty-guided projects conducted at Concordia, off-campus experiences or other independent scholarly accomplishments.
Students participate in groundbreaking research at Concordia alongside distinguished faculty who are recognized leaders in their fields. The college has several programs that support undergraduate research and scholarship.
