HANDBELL SPRING CONCERT AT CONCORDIA
The Concordia College Music Organizations will present the Handbell Choir Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18, in the Buxton/Hanson Hall, Hvidsten Hall of Music. The concert will be performed by the Campana and Tintinnabula handbell choirs.
The choirs will perform a variety of music including “Candle on the Water,” “How Deep the Father’s Love for Us” and George Bizet's “Farandole.”
The choir is conducted by Jessica Westgard, a Concordia graduate who performed with Tintinnabula from 1995 to 1998, the choir’s founding years. She has been the director of handbells at St. John Lutheran Church in Fargo since 1999 and serves on the Handbell Musicians of America National Board of Directors.
The concert is free and open to the public.
