CONCORDIA EARTH DAY CELEBRATION FOCUSES ON CLIMATE CHANGE
     
      The public is invited to join the Concordia community on Earth Day for a series of presentations on the nature and threat of climate change and the various approaches being used to design, develop, and implement concrete solutions. Concordia will host “Let’s Cool It! – Community Wisdom Meets Climate Change” on Monday, April 22, in the Centrum, Knutson Campus Center. The program will run from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. It will feature thirty 10-minute presentations, each followed by five minutes of Q&A. Speakers include faculty members from Concordia, NDSU, and MSUM, as well as college students and residents of the Fargo-Moorhead community. People are welcome to come and leave as they wish.
      Talks include: “Eat Well to Save the Planet,” “Greening the Church,” “Living with Solar in Fargo,” “The Impact of Climate Change on Local Lakes” and “International Youth Campaigns Tackling Climate Change.”
