CONCORDIA PRESENTS LECTURE BY
LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF VICE PRESIDENT

Concordia College will present a lecture by Dan Lee, vice president of external relations for Lutheran World Relief (LWR), at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, in Morrie Jones Conference Center A-B, Knutson Campus Center. The event is free and open to the public.
As a frequent and sought after speaker and preacher for LWR, Lee seeks to passionately connect the life of faith with a global perspective of strategic response to hunger, poverty and injustice. Lee received his B.A. in communication from Concordia and a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary, Saint Paul, Minn.
LWR is an international nonprofit organization specializing in international development and disaster relief. It promotes sustainable development by helping communities increase the quality of life, engage in fair trade and be better equipped to handle emergencies. The organization was founded in 1945 to help Europeans who suffered devastation during World War II. LWR is a member of ACT Development, a global alliance of churches and related agencies working on development that are committed to working together.
