CONCORDIA CHAMBER PLAYERS WILL PERFORM RECITAL

    The Concordia College Music Department will present a faculty recital by the Concordia Chamber Players at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan.27, in Christiansen Recital Hall, Hvidsten Hall of Music.
    The Concordia Chamber Players includes Ian Olson, bass, Russell Peterson, bassoon; Greg Hamilton and Samantha Hamilton cello; Leigh Wakefield, clarinet; Debora Harris, flute; Holly Janz, mezzo-soprano; Jay Hershberger, piano; Kate Hamilton and Renee Tostengard, viola, and Jane Linde Capistran, Aubrey Schield, Joanne Cohen and Adam Twardowski, violin.
      Harris, Hershberger and Janz will perform “The Deepest Desire: Four Meditatoins on Love” by Jake Heggie with words by Sister Helen Prejean, CSJ. The entire ensemble will perform “Suite from Appalachian Spring (Ballet for Martha)” by Aaron Copland.
    The performance is free and open to the public.
