FACULTY JAZZ RECITAL AT CONCORDIA

    The music department at Concordia College will present a Faculty Jazz Recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, in Christiansen Recital Hall.
    The recital “Miles Davis’ ‘Kind of Blue’” will include a talk and performance of the best-selling jazz record of all time, Miles Davis’ album from 1959 “Kind of Blue.”
    The recital features Concordia associate professor Russell Peterson, saxophone; instructor of music Doug Neill, bass; and David Ferreira, director of vocal jazz ensembles on piano, along with faculty members Matt Patnode from North Dakota State University on saxophone; and MSU Moorhead faculty members Tom Straight, trumpet; and Allen Carter on drums.
