BARNHART AND LEEMAN CROWNED
CONCORDIA HOMECOMING ROYALTY

      Seniors Joel Leeman and Stephanie Barnhart have been elected by the student body at Concordia College, Moored, Minn., to reign as 2012 Homecoming King and Queen during Homecoming Week, Oct. 9-14. The coronation ceremony took place Tuesday evening, Oct. 9. Leeman is the son of David and Beth Leeman, Apple Valley, Minn. and Barnhart is the daughter of Kenneth and Jean Barnhart, Kenmare, N.D.
    Other members of the royal court, all from the class of 2013, are: Chris Banken, son of John and Cathy Banken, Andover, Minn.; Eli Johnson, son of Bruce and Ellen Johnson, Brainerd, Minn.; Paul Flessland, son of Larry and Carol Flessland, Hutchinson, Minn.; Tanner Bommersbach, son of Scott and Holly Bommersbach, Grand Forks, N.D.; Kristi Del Vecchio, daughter of Mark and Angela Del Vecchio, Bismarck, N.D.; Desiree Goret, daughter of Ronald and Mona Goret, Rosemount, Minn.; Natalie Decker, daughter of Scott and Cindy Decker, Hutchinson, Minn.; and Kaia Lunde, daughter of Nathan and Marybeth Lunde, Cooperstown, N.D.
      Other events during Homecoming Week include a bonfire and fireworks, a parade, football game and a Homecoming Concert.   
    Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering more than 60 majors, including 18 honors majors and 12 preprofessional programs.
