ART EXHIBITION TO FEATURE WORKS BY STUDENTS
WHO STUDIED IN SANTORINI, GREECE
Concordia College will present an art exhibition by student participants in Concordia’s Summer School Abroad program in Santorini, Greece. The exhibit, “‘When Shall We Spread Our Sails?’: Photographs, Poetry and Essays from Concordia’s Summer School in Santorini,” opens Tuesday, Oct. 2, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 28, in the Cyrus M. Running Gallery. A reception will be from 4-6 p.m. Oct. 2, in the gallery with awards presented at 5 p.m.
Designed by a curatorial committee comprised of Concordia museum studies students, this exhibit showcases the visual and textual creations of the students who spent a month in Greece during May. Prizes are awarded for top works.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday. For more information call the art department at (218) 299-4623.
