CONCORDIA CHAMBER PLAYERS TO PRESENT RECITAL

    The Concordia College Music Department will present a faculty recital by the Concordia Chamber Players at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, in Christiansen Recital Hall, Hvidsten Hall of Music.
    The Concordia Chamber Players, conducted by Foster Beyers, includes Leigh Wakefield, clarinet; Debora Harris, flute; Amy Mercer, piano; Lucy Thrasher, soprano; Greg Hamilton, cello; and Elizabeth McHan, viola. The ensemble will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Schoenberg’s “Pierrot Lunaire” with an informative talk and a full performance of this unique masterpiece.
    The performance is free and open to the public.
