Centennial Scholars Series
Concordia’s Centennial Scholars Research Program is a special grantfunded program dedicated to supporting faculty-student research andinquiry. Up to four Centennial Scholars research grants are given each academic year, with recent awards representing departments across campus, including English, music, philosophy, Spanish, theatre arts, women’s studies, political science, and mathematics and computer science.“Polynomial Approximation in Applied Mathematics”

Student Lecture Series
This series recognizes outstanding student scholarly work, providing them with an opportunity to discuss their findings with others in a public forum. Students who wish to participate must be nominated by a faculty member. Celebration of Student Scholarship
Concordia will hold the Celebration of Student Scholarship on Thursday and Friday, April 12-13, 2012.
This is an opportunity for students who have been involved in original, scholarly projects to present their work at a formal, campuswide academic event. Students are encouraged to present posters, papers and performances that describe high-quality scholarship. This event will take place 6-9 p.m. Thursday, April 12, and 9-11 a.m. Friday, April 13.
