Cobbers Featured at Fargo Film Festival

sommer The all-star cast for the Fargo Film Festival includes a strong Cobber lineup. The festival, which runs March 6-10, is the premier film festival in North Dakota.
 
Among the Cobbers featured are:
 
*     Actor Rich Sommer '00, who is attending the event as a special guest. Sommer is best known for his role as Harry Crane on AMC's multiple Emmy and Golden Globe-winning "Mad Men." Dr. David Wintersteen, associate professor of CSTA, will host a lunch panel with Sommer on March 9.


*     Dr. Fred Sternhagen, director of forensics, and Jason Regnier, assistant director of forensics, who will participate in a panel on March 8 with filmmaker Debra Tolchinsky. Tolchinsky's film "Fast Talk" is about the National Debate Tournament and the trend of speed debate.


*     Dr. Greg Carlson, assistant professor of CSTA, who is the recipient of the Margie Bailly Volunteer Spirit Award. The award is given to a volunteer whose efforts on behalf of the film festival go beyond expectations.
